Should have decanted it, opened up beautifully after a couple hours, exactly what I was looking for in a southern French white, but so rarely find: seashell minerality coupled with richness from the hot sun.

Bought at Weygandt Wines 5 years ago for 28 a bottle. The current vintage, 2012, is 25. The benefits of a weak euro? In any case, this wine aged gracefully the first 7 years and probably could have gone another 5-8.

Mostly Muscat (50%) from calcarious soil. Extraordinary quality at this pricepoint. Unbelievable. Had a few bottles in the cellar and wanted to drink them all before the end of 2015. This was my last one. It was showing extremely well! Could have easily held on to them a bit longer.
