Light yellow. Vibrant. Wonderful Chablis nose. Notes of crushed white stone, light honey, ripe citrus and lemon. Richer more than showing a lot of acidity. Great finish.

2006 white Burgundies can sometimes be hit or miss, but not this one. Raveneau simply doesn't make bad wine - EVER - regardless of whether it's a Premier Cru or Grand Cru. This Premier Cru "Monts Mains" is drinking perfectly now, but isn't about to roll over and die anytime soon!

Had it December 2008.
Slim, not fat. Citrusy, floral, white flowers, very elegant, chalky, graphite. Great acidity and marine notes, oyster fossils . Very persistent.
