Les Petits Vougeots Vieille Vigne Vougeot 1er Cru Pinot Noir

2007 vintage. Brilliant

3 hour decant to let co2 resolve. Black cherry. Game. Touch of reduction. This tastes like chambolle with Corton meatiness. Tannins a bit chewy but this should be wonderful in time. Stashing my other bottle. 2015 vintage

Bright red cherries, raspberries, pepper notes, slight baking spices. Evolved into silky texture and long finish.
