This is extremely rich on the nose with a healthy dollop of oak, but it all works well together. On the nose: sweet meyer lemon, lemon oil, vanilla oak, loads of rocks. On the palate, lovely acidity, a touch of oaky bitterness, lemon, lemon oil, tarragon. A touch of white pepper on the finish. I wonder whether the oak will become dominant with bottle age.

Lovely Montrachet with superb richness, lemons, yellow pitted fruit (pears/apples), slight minerality, and vanilla. Well-balanced. Had a half bottle at Lameloise paired nicely with fois gras creme/beef and fish in a lemon creme sauce
