Steely, clean, tropical, pineapple with some pear. Nimble, live, pebbly. Little sandy. Love the acid.

Had the great opportunity to taste these wines with Françoise Feuillat-Juillot. An amazing woman, and winemaker.

Crisp nose. Green apple, green pear, and some almond and oil and acidic lingering finish. Nice layers.

Continuing this weekend of awesome wines. Françoise's wines show a beautiful range. This 1er has such an elegant perfumed nose of a warm field of wildflowers, along with lemon blossom. Acid streak is present from attack to finish. But the weight is killer!! I've had the distinct pleasure of tasting with her at her beautiful winery twice. Hope to do so again this summer.

Some initial gasiness gave way to a smooth challonaise, where oranges and red grape fruit dominated the fruit profile, and a no-oak, mediumacidandalcohol but well-balanced mid- and end-palate taste made for a great treat with a smoked salmon and melonchili sauce.

My nose is thawing out so apologies for clipped notes. Been watching a football match in the cold. Rocky ripe lemon with savory herbs and slate on finish. Tasted with Francois' when in Burgundy. Such good stuff.

Great value Burgungdy with defined lemon and tart pineapple flavors, where freshness and chalky minerality emerge on the classic finish.

High acid, mineral white burgundy from the Cote Chalonnaise? Not bad!
