Light ruby hue. Pronounced aromas of savory and umami coupled with cherry, leather, pencil shavings, raspberry. Medium bodied, with medium tannins and plus acidity. Plenty of red fruit on the palate. Medium-length finish. By all accounts a delicious vintage, and the "BBQ sauce" aroma is fascinating.
