2015 really is a wild vintage. I would not have expected this kind of inky, dense core and intense tannin structure at such a modest 12.5% ABV. This vineyard obviously had no trouble getting ripe. It’s hard to say whether it got just a little too hot or whether the wine needs another couple years. Given the low alcohol I’m leaning towards the latter. Big, beautiful berry fruit, red rose and quite a persistent minerality. All the components are there, just a few rough contours on the palate right now.

Delicious nose of ripe red cherries and rasberries. Good acid, easy drinking. Great value.

An elegant Cru Beaujolais. Roasted red plums, red ripe cherries, sweet baking spices with notes of garrique on the back palate. Good weight and texture with a long finish. Awesome!

Delicious crunchy red fruit, wild herbs, and dusty undertones. Easy, yet sophisticated.

True red fruit: cherry, raspberry. Flinty and herby on the finish. Really nice.

Crazy blue and deep red fruit profile jumping out of the bottle, lilac. A lesson for those who question if minerality in #wine is a "thing".

Preliminaries say carbonic, hard candied a dark red dried cherry fruit. Earth and gamy for varietal character. Some balsamic and dried herb, Rich pallet of fruit with residual saline/blood quality. Mineral. Residual CO2 gives a nice frame for all the fruit. Acid plays off soft tannins to leave a lengthy sandy texture in the finish. Shows well alone, but shines with a meal.

Cru with Attitude. Pretty, light, and direct like you think a Cru Beaujolais would be, but this thing has a ton of attack. Pretty high acidity and a dollop of rusticity give this a beautiful bite.
