Morey Saint Denis Pinot Noir

At the Toowoomba Wine Show Judge’s Dinner, no time for notes but it was an excellent Village Burgundy from a producer who is turning out some excellent wine of late. His Echezeaux a week ago was outstanding.

Slightly muted nose with accents of decaying rose petal, tart red fruits, wirh cherry stem and ginger indicative of whole bunch use here. Sappy tannins. Decent length. Good village wine for sure.

Lean, restrained and drinkable

So tight and angular, needs time to wake up and mature! It was still enjoyable

Beautiful expression of fruit, there is a juvenile aspect to it for sure, but loving how approachable/aromatic/high toned it is, great stuff.

Initial aromas of sous bois and the palate of dusty dark fruit. Still youthful for me

Rather austere. Needs more time.

Clearly a great and affordable wine from Dujac, never lets you down, I really like it, 2014 is ready to Roll.

In the line of maturity, a fleshy and wonderful wine, still two to go.
