The easy call for WOTN and one of the best showings of the year. Stayed on the upswing the whole night and continued to improve. It mesmerizes with its stunning aromatics, incredible complexity, seamless balance, finesse, vibrancy and structure. This bottle really had it all. Outstanding.

Everything you want it to be and so much more. A perfect bottle and a perfect expression of what this wine is all about. Gorgeous.

1996. great nose. good balance. only a hint of the extreme acidity from the vintage in the finish. starting to get some secondary aromas. great great showing.

All that and a bag of chips

Insanely good. Will continue to be good for 15+ more years.

This bottle seemed at its plateau. Nice crunchy, vibrant red fruits with good secondary/tertiary flavors like mushroom.

One of the best burgundies I've ever had. EMP dinner 2/16/13.
