Reddish tawny, brighter than the Roumier sibling next to it. Odd nose which had some people guessing Italian. Turns out all this needed (like the 93 Roumier BM next to it) was a lot of air. Notes of bright red fruit, sandalwood and Asian spice came on later in the evening. Has a long life in front of it, but great to compare/contrast this and the Roumier side by side tonight. (Bday 8 of 13)

The year we started our winery and named our dog Dujac. A special find in our cellar today. In great shape but sadly slightly corked 😒

from 375 - giving up very little at first. A brawny broad shouldered dark fruited musky beast that still maintains a feminine quality (somehow) on the nose with a bit of oak poking through. Black and red fruits on the palate with musk, dirt, and black tea. Long finish and persistence across the entire palate. Just barely coming out of its baby primary flavors, I would give this particular 07 a few more years.
