La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clairette Blend

Delicious but I'd like to revisit this after a few years.

Bright raspberry, plum and cassis is framed by lavender, sweet licorice, chestnuts and dark chocolate. Good acid and minerality complete the finish. Intense now but not far off as should show really well in another 3-5 years

Oaky, spicy, solid minerality. Solid vintage. A bit tannic. Should age beautifully.

Magnum; decanted two hours and served with thanksgiving dinner. Spicy caramel upfront with tannic graphite finish. Excellent today and promising structure for the next several years.
