Light-Medium bodied..smooth while still holding it's ground. Syrah, Cinsault & Grenache from vibes averaging 40yrs old, Jérôme Quiot recommends serving at 59/61°F w/ salads, red meats, grilled tuna & cheese...I enjoyed it with homemade, decadent red sauce
& spinach pasta, and it was a wonderful pairing.

Named after a silent order of monks (the 'Lazarists') that were centered in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, often found providing comfort & shelter for those in need. This wine's a blend made up of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah & Cinsault -- Fresh and Affordable with Notes of Raspberry, Red Currant, Wild Herb...

Gutsy, simple red. Spicy deep berries, a floral component, and some stoniness. Decent buy at $10.

Light purple. Light body. Powerful, intense flavor. Old World style, dry and spicy not sweet and fruity. This is a splendid wine, from Vieux Lazaret (the grounds of the "old hospital") bottled by the Quito family who have been vineyard owners for three centuries in this area.

Smooth, med body. Blueberry on the nose. Smooth tannins. Not a long finish. Very easy drinking.
