Always one of the top whites of the N. Rhone. So fine. So classy. So refined. Nose has delicate tropical fruits and gorgeously integrated sweet wood. Wafting and evocative. Super mineral and airy. Fruit it melon, guava and pineapple. So pure. Palate is ungodly elegant and so sleek. Great power and concentration but so weightless. Stunning length and not a hair out of place. So so long. Wow. So juicy and clear. Almost a tannic impression and super impressive structure. In a word, profound.

One of the most complex, elegant, and layered white wines I’ve ever had. Its full, creamy body is a cannon of flavor bombs: ripe yellow apple, fresh peach, lemon zest, nutmeg, cream, jasmine, light ash, salted butter, and floral honey. There’s just enough acidity to add freshness to the deep flavors and rich mouthfeel. Absolute 💎

Nose is honey and flowers. Intoxicating.
Palate is rich but very clean. Apricot. Hints of guava. Hints of honey but not overdone.
On day 3 huge glycerol. Rich. Still balanced. This vintage is a poulet de bresse in morel cream sauce wine. Not my personal style. I prefer a lighter wine more mineral-driven wine. But fantastic.

Palate is light peach. Balanced but not overtly acidic. Not heavy. Delicious. There is something very elegant about this. A rare tropical wine that is clean but not blowsy or syrupy or unctuous or too much. Almost this sweet beauty on the finish.
As this opens the nose is a unique thing of beauty. Not peach. But peach flowers. A thing of beauty. Nose filling but so elegant. The barest hint of clove maybe gives some complexity. Some minerality comes out on the palate. Maybe some lemon zest. Great elegant texture. A mere kiss of a coating on the palate. Lingering spice.
