Gigondas Red Rhone Blend

Not a typical Giggie, but it's really good. Really fragrant. Ripe, musky, floral plummy berries. Lavender and cracked stones too. Very soft texture and instantly mouthfilling and clingy. Rich, ripe fruit gives way to iodine-tinged minerality. Long finish. Relatively low acids means this is a short termer. Thanks for this one fratell'

quite bright and fresh, a little unexpected for a Gigondas but quite delicious. Fresh raspberry, both stoney and herbal tones under the fresh fruit on the nose. Medium weight, medium acid and tannin. Approachable.

Cranberry, cherry, violet, pepper and game on the nose. The palate was also showing raspberry, blueberry and lilac. Off-dry, medium plus tannins with a nice long finish.

Earthy, raisiny, dried flowers, crushed rocks. Delightful wine for the price!

Tabacco spice, licorice. A bite at the end but softens. Great with chicken shish kabobs

Tasty spice! There are brambles and warm spice. Eventually, after drinking it for a while, the berries are coming out. And wait- roses too on the nose. Tasty for sure!

Yes, CdP is the adult in the room but sometimes hanging out with the kids can be enormously gratifying. A very impressive Gigondas.
