2018 vintage. Medium-body. Needs another 3-4 years to drop the bully attitude and false bravado, revealing a delicate and gentle soul beneath. Will likely pick up a case next week as the pricing is pretty good for this 1er Cru and effort. 01.09.25.

What a fantastic wine. Lots of structure for an older vintage. Hints of floral, sweetness, and a whisper of sweetness. Lovely.

Very French. Somewhat subdued fruit, a little bit of cigar box, nicely balanced. We
like it by itself and a steak is on it's way. That'll be a yummy combo.
