Not being well-versed in the fairer varietals of grapes, I called on a few trusted wine consultants to give them a specific task: provide for me a clean, crisp #daydrinker with minimal hangover potential. The result from my consultants was a near-unanimous and resounding "Sancerre is what you're looking for." This bottle is the result of that consultation. The nose is invigorating, with distinguishable notes of lemon peel. The acidity is palpable, but it's nicely balanced with the minerals from the chalky soils prevalent in the region, ultimately resulting in a crisp, clean finish.
