Was an aspirational bottle for me and finally saw one in a shop in Charleston. Pinnacle of Etna wine making. Contender for WOTN but shockingly beat out by the Alsace 🐐. @Kyle Harvey getting live tasting notes via text from the wine maker was quite a flex. #summitIV — 3 years ago
Shockingly young. Took nearly an hour in a the decanter to express. Wish I set aside for first hour or so. Classic Cali Cab. Velvety finish bordering on ensconced. — 3 years ago
@Scott Petrus some of our friends just don’t have the palate complexity to appreciate fine Merlot. #summitIV — 3 years ago
A little disappointing given the vintage and buy recommendation I got on this one but solid none the less. In balance but not much power. — 3 years ago
First experience with this wine and even for silex terroir lorie whites this was shocking with its minerality and depth. Acidity is well balanced but screaming in a good way. Was as good a palate cleanser as there can be. Would love to revisit in a few years. #summitiv — 3 years ago
@Kyle Harvey found this on a wine list out to dinner and somehow convinced the somm to sell it retail. Then he flew it back from Tokyo. Legend in my book. Oh yeah, the wine is jaw dropping and lip smacking at the same time. Hype lives up and more. #summitiv — 3 years ago
