Toasty classically California Cab. Youthful in its 22 years.

This is in a great place right now. So , so freaking good. I opened a 97 Napa silver oak the other day and was slightly disappointed. I think the AV is the Mike Tyson of the 2 right now. Drink em if you’ve got em!

A year with darker fruit in the Alexander Valley; rich and fresh

Interesting wine to try. But given the vintage was a bit of a let down

Bursting out of the glass. Bright overall with a surprising amount of tannin. Plenty of years left for this!

Dark earth, dark fruit, spice

Better than expected. A bit big & oaky for my taste, but kinda fun. If you have any, drink up soon, it won't last too much longer.
