Cassis and tabaco, prune, preserves, licorice. Roasted fruits over cedar staves. This wine is a very solid C-D-P, with elegance and finesse, and just a touch of heat.
Such great wines. Lucky to find this one at a sub 30$ price point. Yum!

I haven’t drank many Southern Rhône reds and this was a great wine to start with. Very unique characteristics compared to California reds I’m accustomed to. A unique minerality and dark fruit characteristics highlight this wine.
