Perfect Passover wine- pop n pour, extracted enough for those in the crowd who require power in their wine. More on the black cherry & blackberry spectrum. Clean, svelte, uncomplicated but not simple either. Enough cut too, perhaps moreso than previous vintages. Plus the bottle is like a Cadillac (well, like a luxury car, you choose. Im not crazy about Cadillacs).

Smokin. Just gorgeous cotes du Rhône. Blind no way you’d think it was that. CDP.

A lot of wine for 17$: give it air & You get a dark, inky Rhone blend heavy on the black fruits & lighter on the garrique. A food wine big time, as a bit simple if not a bruiser at 14.5%. My co drinker felt it angular on the palate, while I felt it broad & quite soft despite its power.

Pretty average CDR. Expected more from Dan Kravitz.

Textbook CDR, Grenache. Syrah, mourvedre, cinsault. Had all the character bramble, sanguine, garrigue, sous Bois. You get the picture. Tasting great on the 3rd night after opening, when put back into the chiller.

Doesn’t inspire me. But it’s drinkable. And probably solid table wine for the right hearty fatty meal. Moderate tannins mild fruit. Kinda Smokey tobacco nose mild fruit raisiny on palate but life is too short
