A lot of wine for 17$: give it air & You get a dark, inky Rhone blend heavy on the black fruits & lighter on the garrique. A food wine big time, as a bit simple if not a bruiser at 14.5%. My co drinker felt it angular on the palate, while I felt it broad & quite soft despite its power.

Doesn’t inspire me. But it’s drinkable. And probably solid table wine for the right hearty fatty meal. Moderate tannins mild fruit. Kinda Smokey tobacco nose mild fruit raisiny on palate but life is too short

This a delicious wine for around $10. This is the kind of wine that should make a restaurants by the glass list and just doesn't. It's seriously better than the same old same old unimaginative wines most restaurants spoon feed their customers.
