Funky, structured, and interesting with stewed dark fruits, leather, and plummy ripeness.

Some sooty tarry notes. Light to medium bodied - lighter than I expected. After some time in the decanter the wine filled out and put on palate weight giving earthy plummy minerality on the now medium weight palate. Aromas of undergrowth and garrigue. 85% Grenache 9% Syrah 4% Mourvèdre and 2% assorted other varieties. From a cellaring viewpoint rather short term for a big name Chateaneuf du Pape.

Interesting-clearly from a very warm vintage, devoid of structure and fairly boozy

Still so young but already solid. Pegau in good years always performs. Spices, pepper but also lots of forrest fruit. Great complexity and nice length. Beautiful but will still get better.

Reservee. Another stunning effort from Laurence Feraud. Really complex and interesting. A wee bit of Brett which focuses the fruits.

Delicious and fully mature. Plenty of garrigue, and leather from the Brett. Re-rated to reflect how much better this is on Day 2.
