I’ve tried excellent Tannats from South America, and this one is just as great. Full bodied, deep red color yet gentle acidity on the tongue. I thoroughly enjoyed it. 2018.

Feb 16th, 2025Medium to deep ruby in color; black cherries, cedar, and baking spices on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like black olives, pomegranates, hibiscus, and wet rocks with a long finish. Beautiful on the nose, bit a little thin on the palate. Overall, I like it.

Shortbread-y cobbler olfaction.
Berry cobbler notes continue onto the palate with semi-prominent acidity and a medium finish.
