Domaine du Haut Bourg
Le Pavillon Sur Lie Muscadet-Côtes de Grandlieu Melon de Bourgogne
1st Melon de Bourgogne Ripe and fave of Loire so far. Ripe yellow stone fruit honey vanilla by nose, lively acidity and fruity by mouth
day 2 it's even better almost sweet butter on nose and more effervescent than acidic on palate

Nice fruit, salty sea breeze nose and lots of sour creamy notes on palate. Most tasty muscadet I've had

Jul 31st, 2014Brine and acid up front, floral honey in the finish. Very drinkable, great with citrus sauces for fish.

Feb 5th, 2018Lots of tropical fruit (Passion fruit, pineapple and hints of vanilla and honey suckle) on the nose .. bit bubbly ...acidic, fresh, lots of saltiness and minerality to almost briney... tart, sour and long peppery finish.. great with oysters ... but I am having grilled fish... still a happy pair!
