This has a lot of character. Intense nose has tons of moist, limestony soil notes, baguette crust, deep pear-skin fruit with a little apple, and a vaguely smoky-honeyed thing. Dense and minerally in the mouth. There’s some pear fruit as well. Not a hella complexity, palate-wise. The finish has a noticeable bitter note that grows towards the end. Acids are a bit low, but this doesn’t skimp on flavor.

Burgfest seminar. This has some exotic notes to it. Lychee, tropical fruits. Very aromatic. Reminiscent of Muscat. Interesting wine.
