This is really good Cinsault from #lebanon Old vines make for a delicious fresh wine. The 2015 is plummy with a subtle texture. Cool it a bit it makes for perfect company with a homemade Zaatar Focaccia

Jul 23rd, 20202017 vintage. Made from 70 years old Cinsault vines in the Bekaa Valley. Fermented in concrete tanks using wild yeasts. Very attractive floral nose. Bright red fruit and subtle spices. Refreshing acidity makes the alcohol (14 % abv) go unnoticed. Uncomplicated and delightful, highly recommended.

Apr 27th, 2018Medium ruby in color, some sediment a little cloudy; on the nose, clean, with tertiary aromas of baking spices, and light intensity primary aromas of strawberries and raspberries; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of red currants, tart cherries, and a hint of asphalt and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good.
