The nose is dark and brooding with plum, blackberry, clove, fig, cured meat, black pepper, and wet autumn leaves. Dense and powerful on the palate, but a bit off balance - quite jammy bordering on syrupy. Slightly disappointed.

Great acidity. Vanilla aroma, red fruits and a little smoke. Great on its own or with a simple meat.

Complex nose of blackberries, licorice, plums, coffee bean, olives, smoke, pencil shavings, jerky, black pepper, cigar box. Concentrated medium silky body, excellent acidity, soft clay tannin structure. Hefty aromas contrasted light mouthfeel. Long earthy finish.
