Textbook Pouilly-Fuisse, a bit pricey but well worth it! Minerally, zesty, touch of extremely well integrated oak spice, yellow apples, lemon, and hazelnuts. Just enough of everything (texture, body, aromas, flavors, and complexity) to show what really good Pouilly-Fuisse is all about.

Jun 7th, 2020Clear, day bright, straw colored wine, no rim variation. Moderate to intense nose of root vegetables, grass, mushroom cap, musky wool.
Dry, medium to medium plus body, lots of dried apple and peach fruit, lemon pith, lemon zest. Some malolactic toffee and caramel. Medium acidity. Medium-minus finish that's alcoholic and barrelly. Okay integration, nice little old works chard. A bit expensive for what it is.
