Sep 15th, 2024Vintage 2013 / there is a refection of gold coming in the colour. and also hints of honey in smell, though minerals dominate. lots of character in taste. this is the little nephew of the domaine’s Bonnezeaux that in good years is one of the best sweet wines in the world. made of Chenin Blanc. of course. it will blossom in the next decade.

Dec 31st, 2019Vintage 2013, Domaine des Petits Quarts, Coteaux du Layon. Partnering it with paté and onion/piment confit before dinner. Way too young, good s/s balance, very promising, should drink excellent from 2023 :-) #cheninblanc
