The youthful nose is dominated by high toned fruit notes of red cherry, pomegranate, raspberry with accents of allspice, iron ore and whole cluster fermented fruit, There is depth and complexity in the aromas but still quite coiled and restrained. Reticent but elegant red Pinot fruit flavors alongside a focused mineral edge. Dense fruit based tannins intertwined with the refreshing acidic zing provide a formidable structure. The finish has emerging but restrained red fruit and Corton power. This appears to need 3 to 4 more years to develop as air added layers but still reminded slightly reticent. I feel the wine will show well for many years.

Decanted, notes from 2 hrs open. Nose shows leafy red fruit, mulberry, wild strawberry, and a cool cinnamon vanilla wafts through on the end. On the palate, lovely acidity, sour plum, wild strawberry, spice...the finish builds slowly with perfectly proportioned tannins. This is still a baby, and I'm not sure how much it speaks to Corton, but it is yummy, and has the potential to improve a lot with age.

Medium nose, dark sweet fruit, vanilla and licorice. Medium to large body, potent fruit and tannins, fresh acidity, long finnish. Great potential next 5-10 years.

Big, bold and bright fruit with black raspberry, red cherry and red current aromas. The fruit is caressed by a subtle touch of oak spice and powerful mineral edge. Lush and ripe but definitely full of Corton power and the ferrous quality. Great tannins from ripe fruit. This should really fill out with 5 to 7 more years.

Totally delicious. Very structured and ripe with a well integrated use of new oak. Boston ain't that bad.

Baked apple, cinnamon, graham cracker, wild mushroom, pink salt, graphite. Very expressive, Elegant, complex, well-aged. Silky on palate, delicate finish. Great example of well-made Burgundy.
