Meursault-Perrières 1er Cru Chardonnay

A touch of butterscotch on the nose with lemon and tangy acidity. Good acid. Mature. In a good place.

This is when it really meant something, classic '99 Lafon, beautifully developed but with a great freshness all the same, outstanding wine.

Good amount of minerality with slight creaminess. Long balanced finish of powdered sugar and matchsticks.

Lots of bottle variation. This wasn't as fresh as others

Survived for 17 years and still absolutely perfect
