Really like this Wine, pale lemon color with ripe white fruits and wet stone aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and peach, very complex, lively acidity. Long finish ending with mineral and sweet honey character, will short-term age well, tasting great!

So very interesting and complete. Offers fruit in the nose as quince, pear and apple. All fruit seems to disappear in the palate with swaths of acid and stoney inflections sweeping across the enveloping palate. Texturally very rich and yet with a cutting acid. The tension here is great. This is artful to me.

Call me pedestrian, but this smelled and tasted like wet dog. Thought id love it with description of dry minerality, but not for me.

Really like this Wine, tasting ‘17 & ‘18 together, ‘17 notes. The Baumard family growing the noble Chenin at Rochefort in the Anjou for centuries, in 1953 they acquired a vineyard in the Quarts de Chaume, & in 1968, purchased acreage in Savennieres. Straw with full fruit and light spice aromas. On the palate ripe apple, pear & melon, complex, with vivid acidity. Lingering, ending with mineral and sweet honey character. Wow. A white that should age well. Had ‘16 a while ago, and also great!
