I’m a fan. Pure straightforward apple on opening, over time it turns a bit volatile, which gives it a spicy, crunchy pine forest edge. Last glass was the best, complex with slatey acidity. A bit lifted, almost too much so but not quite. Sorta beer-like. Cool wine, different, fun.

Pale, waxy and stoney with a mild lemon twist and saline lift at the back end that demands another sip. Very clean/natural and I’m guessing no oak. Quite interesting.

Green apple, pear, honey, and lemon zest with loads of minerality. Tropical fruit notes emerge as the wine opens up. Refreshing acidity nicely balanced with a bit of roundness. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY.
