Gorgeous on the nose. Classic aged burgundy. Soft pretty cherry fruit, with gorgeous subtle brambles and earthy notes. Browning at edges but in a good place with lots of secondary notes

Stunning lavaux-st Jacques. Extremely precise, great salinity, red berries, mineral with great integrated oak, wild mushrooms and some pepper. Will be great for many years to come.

Lovely wine. Everything that Denis Mortet tried to accomplish, a fully extracted yet elegant Gevrey but never managed. His son gets it, very juicy tannins and delightful acidity. Medium body, peonies, black fruit and a bit smokeyness. Long finish. Powerful and elegant.

Intense, complex and in a beautiful place. Layered with boysenberry, blueberries, violets, hints of licorice, exotic spices and smoke. Finishes long, silky and with vibrant energy and tension. From the Stone Barns Cellar.
