Happy New Years y'all. For a Sancerre this is above par and I almost would say jaw-dropping. Not melon but cucumber. Tangerine, rocks in a river, acid is round not attacking. It's very feminine in personality and likely aged in old oak. I usually prefer more jump in my sauv Blancs but to be honest this is a perfect gulper that I can appreciate and burn through tonight.

A gold colored robe with visual evidence of viscosity and a bouquet hinting of citrus, mainly lemon and lime, and honey. Tangerine dominates on the palate with subtle secondary notes of undergrowth. At dinner with 2 and 3 after lax-BOS flight, and 2 hour drive. In Maine to pick up 1 from camp. We liked this wine, but N says "we would have liked ANYTHING tonight, with 2 and 3 the way they are being....."
