Saturday night and I have opened the 2011 Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau Vouvray Chenin Blanc.
On the nose there are notes of honeysuckle, chamomile, saffron, sake, marzipan, honeydew melon and brioche.
On the palate there is quince, hints of lemon, marzipan and honey.
This wine is in the stage of change becoming more aperitif like. The wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity that leads into a lightly salted honey finish.ets have a great weekend and please stay safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

The nose is characteristic but the palate leans toward a warmer vintage, backing up with some alc on the finish. Mid palate on shows a lot of structure with stone fruit peaches and apricots. Weight is heavier than expected. Finish is dry. Opened 9/9/15
