Absolutely classic Loire Chenin. Bruised red apple, wilted/rotting acacia petals, peach nectar, tangerine peel, limestone, herbal notes of chartreuse, cumin, and spearmint, plus a touch of "wet wool"--but fairly clean . Dry with good weight and a bit of apple skin bitterness, juicy acidity. Killer stuff for $18 retail.
