Domaine de Piaugier
Côtes du Rhône Villages Sablet Blanc
Big mouthful of a white blend. As someone else in my group commented “this is not crushable” One glass and done not out of dislike but because it’s a lot of wine swirling around in your mouth. Generous body, stone fruit, citrus pith, wet stone minerality. This is a detailed and layered wine. Put on some jazz and get deep into this.

Apr 29th, 2018Very heavy. Maybe you can call it white winter wine. A bit oily and a touch of bitterness on the palette. Interesting to try tho

Nov 7th, 2020Genuine complexity of structure and texture, little bit flat in the middle, but has great foundation and airy top.
