Languedoc Rouge Red Blend

Very rustic GSM -- actually SMG ordered. Full of plum, black berry, black current on the nose. The palate brings smooth tannins, blackberry, black current, spice and cedar. Also nice hints of meatiness.

This is such a classic easy drinking GSM blend I could drink all day. The fruits are muted in a very nice way, and tannins are mellow.

French blend that for its age was harsh and a strong nose of earth...lots of better options!

Initially a barnyard smell but don't let that scare you. Medium bold and dry. Very smooth. Maybe a light currant.

Blackberry and cassis and my neophyte palate cannot distinguish the other subtleties but I am enjoying it and am willing to gain more experience until I can name them all

Perfect with my French cheeses

Good dark fruit, finish is a little off but still very good

Little tart, but drinkable
