This was an absolutely glorious bottle of wine. On the nose: soft noble reduction, Meursault smoke and hazelnut, lemon, Meyer lemon peel. soft herbal notes. On the palate, stunning acidity, lemon peel, lemon oil, tarragon; the density and texture are so appealing. This is still relatively ripe and forward, which makes sense given the vintage (so I'm not at all sad I drank this now) but wow.
