Brawny with a decided soil component; I got blackberry when I was expecting strawberry. Grainy and full but not much verve left. I wanted it to be more compelling but it was a great peek in at a 35 year old Volnay.

Mitans was tighter and more energetic, Pezerolles with a bit more heft and weight.

ethereal & almost unattainable for mere mortals. wish there were a case in my cellar but I love my snowboards, surfboards, & mountain bikes too much...stilted priorities. Ha!
