Wine 2/3 we put up against homemade pizza night. Right out of the gate immense aromas of deep plum & hoisin sauce. Would have loved to drink this with roast duck! Herbs & bramble came about on the nose, but it was the subtle hint of possible TCA that had us questioning this wine on return trips from the bottle. With air this blew off slightly, though was never above my own threshold to consider it fully corked. Lighter body and without depth at the wine’s core. Curious what this wine was like on release. A fun experiment into Loire terroir.

Crunchy and raw with lively tannin/acid interplay, this wine was full of life and earthy charm.

Classic Cab Franc character and phenolics. Bright acid, mineral-driven mouthfeel with expressive strawberry jam flavors. Smoky flint accents and plenty of cow pasture funk. Straight-forward glou-glou bistro wine with freshness and slight effervescence.
