Aug 14th, 2019Good stuff, drinking very well after a few hour decant. Typical Bordeaux mid-to-full weight but an interesting flavor profile - black plum, mocha, sweet leather, tar, Seamless, tannins are folded in, ready to go. Rustic on the nose and from a flavor profile standpoint, but new school in terms of mouth impact and texture.

Mar 12th, 2019Рубиновое. Много специй, перца черного, черные ягоды, бальзамика. Танин суховат, тело среднее, кислотность тоже. Чуть резковатое.

Medium garnet , ruby core , medium wide garnet rim . Touch of wood spice at first then , dark plum and blackberry, grilled meat . On the palate good density of dark fruits, with a slightly gritty grafite , oyster shell note, spice and cocoa. Slightly dry tannin and balanced acidity . Finishes slightly short , a little chalky also . Overall well made but just misses the extra complexity and density of a better vintage . This is in its drinking window , now and over the next 5-8 years .

Jun 8th, 2024Repurchase and hold for 10 years. Possibly superb, otherwise just very very good and solid QPR.

Aug 22nd, 2022This is less overripe than the 2015 and has a more classical cachet. Still is very extracted and oaky. Shows more balance and is very drinkable. But if you love classical claret you should pass.

Feb 21st, 2022Blackish robe and vanillin oak nose, fine tannins but its too extracted and syrupy, overripe. Drinks like a dey port and not like claret. Some might like it, not our thing.
