An exotic, waxy, yellow-fruited style with a distinctly leesy edge. Round, almost fat on the palate, with a dash of fresh herb on the finish to help maintain a sense of balance. Interesting wine.

What was once a beautiful acid focused wine has given way to a flabby disappointment. Had this almost exactly 4 years ago and the transformation led to an ugly duckling instead of a beautiful swan.

Lately I've been feeling like La Tournelle knows me better than I know myself. And yum.

Curons. Zesty Jura chard. Much chew. All kinds of good.

2007 vintage...still almost seems young for Jura. Laser bright acidity but soft burned sugar and fig to finish. Perfect match for my pan seared and roasted chicken. Could likely have gone a few years more.

Zesty, crunchy, (slightly) oxidative Jura Chardonnay. Love & Lees. Really, truly perfect.
