Top Notes For
Such beautiful use of oak here. Dark chocolate, baking spices, blackberry jam, BBQ'd meat and leather. Palate followed the nose. Medium acidity and tannins round each other out but the high alcohol kind of sticks out. Nice long finish. Sexy stuff.

Dec 17th, 2014Pushed out 60 minutes of ethereal Grenache beauty then quietly moved on. Don't decant, just serve straight away with duck or braised something.

Dec 21st, 2017The wine that opened my eyes to Terre Rouge and the potential of the Foothills, 6 years after I first enjoyed it. Moving gracefully into its twilight years with roasted cherry and fig, toffee, sous bois and granite.
