This is spectacular. Soft and rounded and pretty but really intense and interesting. Roses, wild strawberry, plum, hints of dried orange. All supple and detailed. Fully resolved but surprising as it unfolds. This is a great old bottle and is utterly enchanting.

Tasted blind. Brownish tawny. Transparent and thin. A nose that brings a smile. Exotic. Notes of cherries, roses, Asian spice, rhubarb, soil and some Cuban cigar. Really nice in the mouth but finish is a bit thin, owing to its age. Guessed 66 DRC Echezeau (on a role with the guesses!)

"Smells like an old slaughterhouse" - was a good descriptor - also mushrooms, still a bit of light red fruit. Remarkable and interesting, especially considering the age.
