The DRC was pretty tight when first opened & needed an hour in the decanter. Dark red & blackberry fruits, some stem action, earth, mineral & Vosne Romanee spices.

Nose was fantastic but way too young to be opened. The flavor was fleetingly and disappointingly tight and short but what else could we expect for a wine this young.
Revisiting in a decade or two would be fun but doubt I will get the opportunity.
Rating based on experience of this bottle at this age, not potential for the future.
