Dense florals, bramble purple spiced fruit, tea and sweet ginger, perhaps there is a slight red fruited rusticity in the Echezeaux next to La Tache, but in its own light, there is a lovely and regal young perfume here supplanted by ample oak which wants to be integrated, but it is beginning to show its core. Love 2009’s.

Total infanticide but fun to try and imagine the future. The typical sweetness of the vintage, but tightly would. Seriously, don't touch this for 10 years.

Green as F****. Just like the 09 Ricebourg. More stem and less bell pepper. Even next day in the glass it had that signature. A little more strawberry sweetness though.
