A wonderful and lively Jura chard with some age. Complex yet drinkable: a touch cidery, a touch reductive. Autumnal apple orchard (ripe fragrant apples, but also some that have dropped and are starting to rot, and turning leaves), sweet Meyer lemon, lemon curd, and almond. High acid and a decently creamy texture. Long finish. This domaine is simply killing it, an insta-buy. Organic and biodynamic farming, astute winemaking, and great prices (this was around $25).

Medium clear and golden yellow. Combination of tropical fruit, nuts and minty nose. Really expressive palate of pear, crushed rocks, salt, red apples, marcona almonds and natural cider. Silky texture. Love this wine now! Much better.

Leesy cheesy yellow fruit on the nose bursting into sharp lemon curd on the dry, crisp palate. Bright, sharp and to the point. Lovely!

Chardonnay Fontinielle 2012: from Pupillin on limestone, aged two years in Demi-M. Quite fleshy peach, nectarine and creamy notes. Deft touch of kernel. Complex, good acid, long length of creamy and nutty touches. Good ripe/cooked Apple touches, honeyed too. Lovely. 93

I can't believe this is chardonnay! Wow. A good introduction to this style. Good with pumpkin fondue- it will cut and complement the richness. Also good with charcuterie and sheep cheese.

Exceptional wine. Beautiful color and lovely tropical nose. Flavors of pear and apple on the tongue.

Gained a little weight since my last tasting. Still tasty and driven. Curious how this will age.

A little nutty, a little intriguing, and a whole lot of deliciousness. Wishing it had a bit more of mid-palate.
