2013 La Remise de la Mordor'ee (rouge)
50% Merlot 50% Marselan

Appearance: clear, deep red-violet

Nose: Clean, medium plus plum

Palate: Dry, medium plus acid, medium plus fine tannins, medium body, mineral dusted flavors of juicy red & black fruits, singing floral, dark and chewy core. Long finish.

Quality: Very good for under $20.

Commentary: Very exciting, enjoyable now, worthy of aging for 2 years, and under $20. Multi-bottle purchase.
50% Merlot 50% Marselan, Love the blend. Let it breathe in glass. First time coming across Marselan in any form, and hope to see much more of it in the years to come.

Deep flavor, sweeter than other Rhône offerings but retains the dry finish. Very well balanced.

Rich rosé, oaky earthy finish, watermelon and just slight brambly bitterness
