Ripe plum berry jam, hint of spice on the nose. Full bodied and round on the palate. High alcohol. Medium finish. A bit unbalanced from the tannin and acid side IMHO

Pretty solid juice. $90 is a little on the high side but definitely tasty.

Ambivalent sur cette bouteille, peut-être que je m’attendais à beaucoup plus. Nez de kirsch et fruits noirs à l’ouverture, tres soyeux, crémeux, en bouche, kirsch, mures, tapenade, un brin vegetal. Assez unidimensionnel, j’aurais aimé un plus grande complexité, le vin manquait d’éclat ou d’effet wow! Mais, on se le cachera pas ca se buvait bien quand même! Fallait juste que je tempère mes attentes, pour les autres bouteilles, je suis encore mitigé, on boit ou on attend? est-ce que celle-ci est dans un phase ingrate, bouteille off ou mon gout perso!

Tasted two bottles of the 2009 vintage. It aged badly and unfortunately was past its prime time.

Still a bit austere and tight but a deep and rich palate of cherry liquor and spice. Long lasting finish of white pepper and strawberry jam. Has a lot of life yet as the tannins are still formidable

Red berries, incredible nose. David would love this wine

Black fruited nose very dense and tight when first opened
